Tourist information There’s a small tourist office (daily 7.30am–5pm; 043 287 3051) at Muelle pier.

Jeepney tours There are a couple of tour operators in town, but their offices are hardly ever open and they’re pretty unreliable. Your best bet is to hire a local jeepney to take you round the sights; most drivers have photos and descriptions of local attractions plastered up inside their jeepneys to give you an idea of where to go. A day’s private hire costs around P1700, and as the price is for the whole jeepney, it’s cost-effective to join up with other travellers.
